The Challenge
Founded by serial entrepreneur Adii Pienaar, Ubundi is an AI-native studio building tools for prosumers and builders who value transparency and experimentation.
We were tasked with creating an abstract, timeless identity that signals sophistication and community without falling into literal tropes.
For a company committed to making financial well-being accessible to all, solving this challenge was essential. Wealthbit wanted to give users the tools they need exactly when and where they need them—in the palm of their hand, in the moment decisions are made.
Our Work

Defining Fluidity
While our initial exploration considered a “building block” metaphor to emphasize modularity, we ultimately determined this was too literal and lacked the distinction required for a high-end studio. We pivoted toward an experimental direction that prioritizes fluidity and motion. This intuitive shift captures the idea of AI that adapts and evolves alongside the people it serves.

Studio Architecture
As a studio brand designed to support multiple spinouts, the identity was built for maximum flexibility. We developed a system where the master brand remains strong and distinctive but can sit seamlessly alongside a growing family of products, each sharing a common visual DNA.

Crafting the Icon
The final logomark is an abstract letter “U,” crafted from a single, continuous line. Its intertwining shape represents connection and evolution, mirroring the belief that intelligence—and the studio’s output—is always in motion. The seamless flow of the line speaks to the interconnectedness of human and artificial intelligence, grounding the master brand in a narrative of co-creation.

We speak with an open mind and a sense of discovery. Ubundi’s curiosity fuels innovation. We ask questions, share ideas, and invite others to think differently. Our language should spark thought and exploration, not just deliver answers.
Collaborative
Our tone builds connection. We use inclusive language that welcomes participation and recognises shared effort. We frame progress as something we create together: partners, builders, and communities shaping AI side by side.
Credible
Ubundi’s expertise is evident, but never overstated. We speak with quiet confidence, backed by research, experience, and insight. Clarity, transparency, and accuracy are non-negotiable. We earn trust through how we communicate, not just what we build.
Human
Even as an AI-native brand, we speak like people, with empathy, warmth, and intention. Our voice values human context and emotion, making technology feel more accessible, relatable, and real.
Fluid
Our communication adapts to context, audience, and platform, just like our technology. Whether we’re writing a technical insight or a brand story, the tone remains cohesive but flexible, shifting naturally between thought leadership, collaboration, and storytelling.
Visionary
We look forward with optimism and imagination. Ubundi’s voice is future-facing but grounded in purpose. We describe what’s next in a way that feels inspiring, not abstract. Every idea connects to how it might make life better for real people.
Typography
We selected Manrope as the primary typeface for its contemporary, geometric clarity. It balances technical precision with an open curve structure that communicates approachability. This choice provides a clean, “corporate” weight that feels established without becoming stuffy or rigid.
Colours
The palette pairs deep, grounding navy tones with luminous accents like Electric and Amber. These colors reflect a balance of credibility and curiosity, using darker tones to anchor the brand while employing lighter, shifting hues to suggest transformation and discovery.
The Conclusion
The result is a high-end visual ecosystem that positions Ubundi as a trusted leader in human-centered AI. By prioritizing an abstract, fluid mark over literal imagery, we have crafted a brand that is both sophisticated and visionary—ready to anchor the next generation of AI-native products.
